John Michael Tsiros
was 12 when he entered a European
music competition with a piece he composed on his own and his
entry came at the top list among
several thousand entries. In
1992 he took part in the first
ever rave festival that took place in Cyprus, meeting DJ's from the UK
who encouraged him to go on
writing his own music. He is rightly
considered now as being one of the pioneers of the rave scene in Cyprus.
In 1998 he recorded an album he named
ANCIENTFUTURE on his ordinary synthesizer without the use of a producer
or a studio. One year later (May '97) recorded his first professional
EP OBSCENITY. Released only in Cyprus, it was a significant hit, especially
amongst the British people. It was played in most clubs & radio stations
on the island.
